Membership

To be eligible for membership, an individual shall have an active interest in data management concepts, products or technology, either as a user or a potential user. Read the chapter bylaws thoroughly. Also, review the DAMA International parent site (http://www.dama.org).

To become a member, complete the online form (at right) and send a check for the fees to:

Sponsorship Status

There are two classifications of membership:

• Individual

  • Student – an individual student of an accredited institution of higher learning.

  • Individual Person – an individual membership in the local chapter with that individual person, regardless of employment.

• Corporate

  • Limited – membership may have no more than 5 individuals employed by that facility.

  • Unlimited – membership may have unlimited individuals employed by that facility.

Annual Membership Fees

The membership year shall begin September 1 and end August 31.

• Student $25

• Individual $65

• Limited Corporate $300

• Unlimited Corporate $1000

(Guests may attend one meeting free.)

Memberships accepted during the year shall be prorated based on the number of months remaining in the membership year.

• The Chapter is recognized and publicized by DAMA International, the premier professional organization for data/information management practitioners.

• An enjoyable opportunity to build relationships with a network of data management professionals.

• Participation in a forum for exchange of information, ideas, experiences, resources and questions on Information and Data Resource Management.

• Chapter members receive discounts provided to DAMA International by selected vendors and publishers.

• Chapter members are eligible for a free subscription to DM Review.
